Yay! Christmas Break has finally come… x}

Today was also the class spelling bee. A lot of people took a lot of time spelling the words, so we only got to the end of round two with 10 remaining spellers by the time school ended. I’M ONE OF THOSE TEN! YAY! Well, actually I was kind of expecting that to happen because I had a goal of second or first in the first place first of all anyway. (decipher that?)

Soooo…. From what I know, my family has a lot planned for this weekend and next week.

Today we’re having an early Christmas party at my grandparents’. Yay!

Tomorrow there’s a Christmas celebration at church (along with a skit I have to or get to perform in)

Sunday I have a piano recital :O, then we’re off to church and staying late there watching movies. :D

Monday… I might be going to a band jam with my dad and cousins.

Tuesday my family has a reunion of some of my long-good friends. Our tradition used to be to stay there late till 2 or 3 in the morning. I hope that’s so with this time too! :D

Wednesday we’re off to Houston to visit my mom’s side of the family.

Oh, and dreaded and big history day project I have to work on too. :O

Science Project: A.R.G.

19 12 2008

A stands for Arg.

R stands for Read the earlier post.

G stands for… Geometery got stuck in my head.

This is a pretty late post because its from about a week ago, but: By the “Read-Earlier-Post Postulate” and “Looking-At-The-Title Theorem” and the “Inference Postulate”, you can probably conclude that: I did not win the school science fair. In fact, I did not place at all. Boohoo. Hey, at least I made it to the Finalists section! (REmember. I’m an OPTIMIST) Our project was good, though. It would have won an award except it, according to my father who is exceptionally intelligent in this field of knowledge, the wording should have been more concise. The judges only have time to look at each project briefly, so the project should explain a lot in very short wording.

I’m going to Synopsys County Fair tho. I’ll edit the board and stuff over the Christmas break to make it more concise. :D My partner’s not so keen on going to Synopsys because she doesn’t want to go through the “huge” trouble of signing the papers and everything. Actually, it’s not that bad. Or again it might just be me. I really don’t know. But I know this: as long as it means my project wasn’t done in vain, it’s all good. :D

p.s. I know this isn’t a letter but I’m writing p.s. anyway.

p.p.s. For those of you who haven’t the intellect to have advanced to the level of arithmetic known as geometry yet or aren’t of age yet, Theorems and Postulates and Definitions are just stuff you’ll need to learn to prove certain stuff in geometry.

And finally, a half angry half nothing p.p.p.s. My sister won first in the sixth grade science fair division (bangs my head on the wall)… (oh wait maybe twice)… (or thrice)… (oh wait i just remembered hitting your head on something makes you lose brain cells… woops).

Rabbits Resolved

19 12 2008

Thank you everyone who voted on what we should have done with the rabbits. My family decided to give three babies and Ninja to Mr. Palla, Morrill Middle School’s  technology and ecology teacher. We still have Bambi, Baby, and Biscuit or Calcium. Two rabbits are still missing. :/ My school has a HUGE environmental center at the side of the school where I’m sure the rabbits will have a lot of fun. Sometimes they manage to escape outside the fence and roam in the field outside, but they always come back in.

It’s a little late for this post because we gave them to Mr. Palla about two weeks ago, but I haven’t posted about this yet because, well, I sort of forgot about it :L I just visited them today after school. I’ve seen three of them already and it seems like they’re doing really well! Well, good for them! :D
